About Ivory Bridge:
Ivory Bridge is a band composed of friends John Bodle, Jim Tordoff, Bill Liners and Kathe Liners, who share a mutual love of music in general and Bluegrass music in particular. Our name is meant to convey a sense of the lustrous natural quality of Ivory that spans the traditional Bluegrass styles with a contemporary feel and sense for modern acoustic music. A beautiful music respectful of its origins is the Ivory Bridge sound. Most of our material is original, a rare quality in today’s world consisting too much of “Cover” or “Traditional” bands that re-hash old standards. All of the band members of Ivory Bridge have contributed to the original repertoire of the song library. Ivory Bridge features some of the strongest instrumentalists in the region accompanying the most original vocalist found in this area. This versatile band features solo, duet, trio and quartet vocal arrangements of original, gospel, new and traditional string band music, as well as original and traditional instrumentals. Ivory Bridge Bluegrass band loves its music and loves to share it with the audience. The band has performed across the country and play frequently throughout the Twin Cities area and at Crossings at Carnegie in Zumbrota. Band members Bill and Kathe have been the devoted servants of several lucky cats. http://www.ivorybridge.com/
