Each year the Humane Society of Goodhue County in partnership, All Creatures Veterinary Clinic and the City of Red Wing, holds a low-cost license & vaccination clinic.
The date and time for the 2013 Rabies Clinic is:
Saturday, July 13th, 2013 from 11 am to 2 pm
The clinic will be held at the Humane Society of Goodhue County at 1213 Brick Ave in Red Wing.
WHAT:
Low-cost Rabies vaccinations and city pet registrations
Rabies vaccination* = $10
City of Red Wing License = $5 (Required for all pets within the city limits.)
Microchip Implantation & Registration = $20 (optional)
WHEN:
Saturday, July 13th from 11 am to 2 pm
To attend the clinic no appointment is necessary – each pet will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 11 am. All animals must be restrained on a leash or in a portable kennel at all times. Information about each pet will be collected including the pet’s estimated date of birth, breed, and owner’s contact information.
WHY:
All dogs and cats in the City of Red Wing are required to have a current Rabies vaccination and to be licensed through the Humane Society. Plus, it’s just a good idea! Get both in one easy stop for one low cost at the clinic. Rabies is a very serious disease that may go undiagnosed until it is too late to receive treatment. For that reason, it’s critical that all dogs and cats have a current Rabies vaccination. Prevention is the key!

*In order to receive a 3 year vaccination, you must show proof of previous vaccinations. Please bring your vet records with you. If you do not have a copy of your records, please contact your veterinary clinic and get a copy prior to the event. We are not able to look up veterinary records during the Rabies clinic.
